Development of Environment Education Guide and Learning Materials for Mountain Ecosystems and Snow Leopard Conservation
WWF Nepal is seeking a qualified consultant to develop an Environment Education Guide (EEG) and interactive learning materials focused on mountain ecosystems and snow leopard conservation, as part of its broader campaign to build conservation awareness and stewardship among school children and teachers.
The assignment includes developing a teacher-focused Environment Education Guide and a children’s workbook in Nepali and English, featuring age-appropriate lesson plans, experiential and outdoor activities, facts, illustrations, and interactive exercises. The consultant will also support and facilitate four teacher training workshops (one in KCA and three in Kathmandu), document workshop outcomes, and contribute to a community-led Conservation Vision for KCA based on inclusive consultations.

Conducting Water Sources Inventory in Dolpa
Shey Phoksundo National Park (SPNP) is the largest and the only trans-Himalayan National Park of Nepal. The water sources and water bodies at Bhijer and Saldang of Dolpa district face varied environmental and socio-economic challenges across their upstream, midstream, and downstream zones. In response, WWF Nepal aims to integrate local and traditional knowledge with a systematic inventory and assessment of water sources and water bodies in the project area.
WWF Nepal seeks the services of an individual consultant to conduct a comprehensive field-based inventory and mapping of water sources and water bodies in the Bhijer and Saldang of Dolpa district to support evidence-based planning for water security and resilient ecosystem services.

Designing Information, Education and Communication (IEC) materials
WWF Nepal has been investing in local livelihoods and conservation education improvement for Human-Wildlife Interaction affected communities around thirty-five villages and settlements of lower and upper Dolpa. However, increasing human-wildlife conflict threatens both the species’ conservation and the livelihoods of local communities. Awareness and effective conflict mitigation strategies are essential for fostering coexistence between humans and wildlife.
WWF Nepal seeks the services of a consultant to develop visual IEC materials (video and illustrations/posters) that demonstrate how to build safe, predator-proof livestock corrals to reduce livestock depredation by snow leopards and other wildlife.
