WWF Nepal is seeking a qualified Nepal-based organization to develop standardized guidelines and reporting formats for tracking climate finance in Nepal. This assignment supports the Government of Nepal’s commitment to the Enhanced Transparency Framework (ETF) under the Paris Agreement through the CBIT project. The consultant will assess national systems, identify gaps, and align tools with UNFCCC/ETF and IPCC requirements, while proposing institutional arrangements for transparent and consistent climate finance reporting.

Preparation of Gharial (Gavialis gangeticus) Conservation Action Plan for Nepal
WWF Nepal is seeking the services of a consultant or consultancy firm to prepare a comprehensive Gharial Conservation Action Plan for Nepal for the period 2026–2035. This plan will address emerging threats, review past conservation efforts, and propose clear, practical actions for the long-term survival of the Gharial (Gavialis gangeticus) in Nepal.
The new action plan will provide a strategic framework for Gharial conservation at the policy, program, and grassroots levels. The consultant will review the previous Gharial Conservation Action Plan (2018–2022), assess the current status, threats, and opportunities for the species, and develop a new plan with measurable conservation goals.

The Managing Watersheds for Enhanced Resilience of Communities to Climate Change in Nepal (MaWRiN) Project considers watershed approach to ensure the longer-term resilience of local and indigenous communities against climate emergencies.
