Documentation of Best Restoration Practices from the Terai Arc Landscape

WWF Nepal is seeking a qualified consultant to document the best restoration practices, lessons learned, and successful case stories from the Terai Arc Landscape (TAL), a transboundary ecological region crucial for wildlife conservation and local livelihoods. The documentation will serve to capture valuable restoration experiences and inform future conservation efforts in Nepal and beyond.

The consultant will review existing TAL strategies, action plans, and relevant documents, conduct consultations with stakeholders, identify and document at least 5 best restoration practices, 5 case stories, and key lessons learned.

Final Evaluation of Breaking the Illegal Wildlife Trade Chain in Bagmati Province, Nepal

WWF Nepal seeks a qualified consultant to conduct the final evaluation of the project "Breaking the Illegal Wildlife Trade Chain in Bagmati Province," funded by the UK Government’s Illegal Wildlife Trade Challenge Fund.

The evaluation will assess the effectiveness, impact, sustainability, and efficiency of the project, focusing on reducing wildlife trafficking through capacity building for law enforcement, transportation workers, and local communities. The consultant will review project documents, conduct field visits, and gather data from key stakeholders to provide a comprehensive evaluation.

ToR_IWT- Final Evaluation

Illegal Wildlife Trade documentation video

WWF Nepal is seeking a qualified consultant to produce a video documenting the impact of its project “Breaking the Illegal Wildlife Trade (IWT) Chain in Bagmati Province, Nepal.” The video will highlight the project’s impact across three key areas: enhancing community conservation networks, building capacity within the transportation sector, and strengthening law enforcement capabilities.

The consultant will produce a 7-8 minute video that includes interviews with stakeholders, footage of project activities, and narration. The video should document the progress of the project and its contributions toward improving the fight against IWT in Nepal. The video will also showcase WWF Nepal's work with local communities, transportation workers, and law enforcement officials to combat IWT in Bagmati Province.

Otter conservation documentation video

WWF Nepal is seeking a qualified consultant to produce a documentation video showcasing the impact of its project “Strengthening communities’ livelihood and stewardship to conserve Otters in the Karnali.” Implemented in the Lower Karnali Watershed of Nepal’s Terai Arc Landscape with support from the UK Government through the Darwin Initiative, the project focuses on conserving otter habitats while improving the livelihoods of marginalized river-dependent communities.

The consultant will produce a 7–8 minute video documenting the project’s work and impact over the years, featuring narration, stakeholder interviews, and visuals of project activities and freshwater ecosystems.
